Firefox 4, prime impressioni

L’interfaccia sembra migliorata notevolemente.
Pulita, le tabs sopra di tutto, un po’ come in chrome.
Sembra molto curata la parte di “Tag/Catalogazione” dei Preferiti però…
Però con solo questo blog aperto: 224MB… Safari si attesta intorno a 86…

Ancora non ci siamo, troppa memoria occupata, qualcuno ha avuto altri riscontri?

Non è un annuncio, la nuova interfaccia di Twitter è realtà da un po’ e posti dove trovare video, informazioni al riguardo ce ne sono, primo fra tutti il blog ufficiale di Twitter. Eppure solo oggi mi accorgo di una piccola, deliziosa funzione.

Gli ho chiesto di chiamarmi se trovano la figura corrispondente, che si potrebbe entrare nei Guinness World Records, e di tenere a portata di mano la kryptonite.

Mi irritano molte mail del genere perchè significa non avere alcuna idea di chi si sta cercando e di cosa possa significare quello che si ha scritto.

Nessuno può essere un sistemista, senior developer in ASP e PHP, PM, designer, PR, SEO, copy, .ui designer e chipiùnehanemetta, tutto ad alto livello.

E mi dispiace, molto, per chi magari ha davvero talento per una sola di quelle skill, perchè meriterebbe di lavorare più di chi si finge – con pessimi risultati poi – il superman di turno.

Irritato.

Rimbalza nei blog tematici la notizia che i possessori di un account MobileMe hanno la possibilità di ascoltare la musica salvata nel proprio iDisk, in streaming.

Un primo passo verso “iTunes Cloud”, verso il non dover aggiornare più librerie su diversi mac / device.

Buone notizie insomma, ma alcuni problemi rimangono ancora aperti. E non tanto per le licenze con le diverse etichette musicali…

Esportazione feed RSS da Mail

Ho preso l’abitudine di leggere e sottoscrivere i feed direttamente da Mail.
Cosa fantastica, ho posta e news in un solo programma, ma volendpo passare la lista di sottoscrizioni ad un altro programma, o condividerla con altri Mac, non esiste un pulsante di esportazione.

Ecco uno script da copiare e incollare nel terminale che restituisce la lista dei feed:

Visa lancia il suo sistema di pagamento online

Visa lancia PayClick, il suo sistema di pagamenti online, forse stanca di dover pagare commissioni a Paypal.

Ormai però sono davvero tanti, forse troppi per poter preoccupare, i sistemi e servizi che utilizzano PayPal, che permette la sincronizzazione con una moltitudine di servizi bancari.

Personalmente ormai ho collegato Paypal a doppio filo con le mie scorribande nel web, ma potrebbe essere una soluzione interessante da proporre ai clienti per e-commerce o simili.
